Soft Blonde Fur Jacket Coat Sheared Beaver Light Brown Mink Collar Vintage 50s 60s Helen of Memphis Monogrammed Floral Satin Lining XS

Very soft vintage 50's/60's "Helen of Memphis" blonde sheared beaver fur jacket with brown mink fur collar

Lined in floral satin and monogrammed what looks like "Gail Gros"

Two pockets lined in beige flannel and closes in front with two fabric-covered hook & eye closures

Not marked with a size but seems to fit a modern XS. Photographed on a size 2/4 dress form and it is quite fitted in the shoulder area when closed. Please use measurements to ensure proper sizing.

Measurements:
Pit-to-pit (hooked & laying flat): 20"
Length (top of shoulder-to-hem): 21"
Sleeve length (pit-to-cuff): 14"

Good vintage condition with minor use/age-related wear. Cleaning tag shown in photos was still attached to the garment. There is one tiny tear by the lowest hook and eye closure that has likely weakened from being buttoned. That said, it's recommended that you don't use the bottom closure to keep the small tear at bay. See last photo for close up.

We only source pre-1980's vintage furs and fully inspect each piece for tears, stains, dry rot, moth ball odor, etc. That said, please be aware there may be minor flaws such as small areas of balding, minor shedding, loose stitching, faint stains, etc. And, one last thing, please treat these garments with the utmost care! Vintage fur of this age, even if it has been well cared for, is extremely delicate and can tear very easily so we don't recommend wearing it as your "everyday" winter coat.
