Classic vintage 50's wool "Ridgedale Rockets" varsity bomber jacket. Retro details including red & white knit neckline and cuffs and white leather-trimmed front pockets

Closes with snaps along the front

Marked size 40 but seems to fit a modern women's XS/S. Photographed on a ladies size 2/4 dress form and it fits well. Please use measurements to ensure proper sizing.

Meaurements (snapped & laying flat):
Shoulder seam-to-shoulder seam: 19"
Pit-to-pit: 21-1/2"
Top of shoulder-to-hem: 22-1/2"
Pit-to-cuff: 18"

Good vintage condition for it's age. Paint is wearing off the snaps, wool shell has an inconsistent patina and cotton lining has stains. Jacket has been dry cleaned so any imperfections are likely permanent. There is a hole in the knit trim at hem which is more visible from the inside. All this said, the coat is incredibly stylish and still has many years of life ahead!
