My lifelong passion for fashion began long before smartphones and social media feeds - back when discovering style meant flipping through every fashion magazine I could get my Midwest hands on.
Ready to experience more of the country, I moved to Dallas, Texas where I pursued a double major in Business and Foreign Languages at SMU. It was during my study abroad year in Paris when everything clicked. Immersed in a city where fashion is simply a way of life, I decided to move across the pond after graduation to pursue a career in anything European and FASHION! Fresh off the plane with a couple of suitcases in tow, I was beyond fortunate to land a buying position in Victoria's Secret in oh-so-chic London, England office, where I spent my days reporting on all things trend - designer looks, High Street fashion, flea market finds and cultural moments shaping fashion in real time. Over time, my perspective evolved. As the environmental impact of the fashion industry became increasingly clear, I was drawn to a more thoughtful approach - one rooted in sustainability, craftsmanship and longevity. Fast forward to today's throw away society of fast fashion, cheap mass production and labor injustice, pieces that withstand the test of time are no longer the norm, but the exception. They literally "don't make it like they used to" and I'm on a mission to bring you a highly curated selection of stylish, high-quality American vintage treasures to mix in with your modern life.
